Consultation opportunities

Australia’s Future in Space: a strategic plan for space science is being developed through extensive community consultation. This consultation will take place through surveys and focus group interviews that will take place from late 2019 through to May 2020. This process ensures that information from the perspectives of the learned academies, universities, government agencies and industry is collected and considered when developing the plan.

This webpage will be updated as opportunities to provide input arise.

Providing a submission to the plan

If you would like to add your input into Australia’s Future in Space strategic plan, please either submit your comment (150 words max) or attach a formal submission (white paper) using this form.

Please ensure your white paper submission is no more than 5 pages (12 point font), ideally 2 pages long, and addresses an overview of the science topic, how it relates to priorities set out in the scope of the plan and identifies the current issues and key risks.

Town-hall consultation events

Consultations for the overall plan will be held in May via video conferencing. Details will be made available in late April.
