Science by Doing is the flagship secondary science education program from the Australian Academy of Science for Years 7 to 10. It offers educators freely accessible materials, professional learning, and support grounded in research and contemporary practices, with an emphasis on Australian science and scientists.

The 2015 Theo Murphy Australian Frontiers of Science symposium, Materials for the 21st century: from design to application, will be held in Melbourne from 9 to 11 December. Congratulations to the 63 EMCRs whose applications to attend this year were accepted. The Academy looks forward to welcoming you at the event in December and hearing about your research.
