National Committee for Space and Radio Science

Scope

The NCSRS includes within its ambit the following broad areas.

Space physics, including: the solar system and planetary science; the near-Earth space environment; studies of Earth’s surface, meteorology and climate from space; relevant aspects of astrophysics; life sciences related to space. Properties and applications of electromagnetic fields and waves, including wave propagation and remote sensing, radio communication and remote sensing, radio astronomy, electromagnetics in life sciences.
