Decadal plan for chemistry—Events and timeline

Timeline 2014–2015

The Decadal Plan Working Group envisages that the plan will have the following approximate timelines:

  • May 2014: Website opens for submissions.
  • June 2014: Data Mining and Surveying of Chemistry Databases begins.
  • July – November 2014: Open Meetings across Australia (see Events for Details).
  • July – September 2014: One-on-One Interviews with selected people within the Chemistry Community.
  • December 2014: Presentation of Initial Raw Findings and Feedback- RACI National Conference Adelaide Dec 5-9, 2014.
  • December 2014 – April 2015: Collation of data and Findings, Creation of White Paper.
  • April-May 2015 – White Paper Feedback.
  • June –Sept 2015: Final Document Prepared.
  • Nov-Dec 2015: Presentation of Decadal Plan.
