Celebrating excellence in science: Career honorific awards

Find out how climate change is reshaping our oceans, uncover the secrets of our universe, discover the origins of breast cancer and so much more! Join us online to hear from the Australian Academy of Science's career honorific awardees.

The Academy’s honorific awards recognise outstanding contributions to the advancement of science, and the career honorific awards recognise life-long achievement.

In these two online events, the Academy celebrates the recipients of the 2022 and 2023 career honorific awards. Each event will feature five awardees, each presenting their work in a short presentation followed by a Q&A.

See below for the awardees participating in the events. The livestream will be available on this page. A detailed program will be made available soon.
