​Perspectives of Researchers on Working with Policy Makers survey

The Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science at ANU is inviting all researchers who have worked with policy makers to take a short survey about their experience. Answers to the survey will be used with other available studies to create strategies to improve the working relationships between researchers and policy makers.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Scientist Travelling Research Award

The Australian Academy of Science has launched an award to recognise research in the natural sciences by outstanding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander PhD students and early- and mid-career scientists. The award aims to support the expansion and growth of each scientist’s research networks and international knowledge exchange, through visits to relevant international centres of research. 2018 Cutaneous Biology Meeting: Travel bursary application and EMCR program

Applications are open for travel bursaries 2018 Cutaneous Biology Meeting at University of Queensland Research Station on North Stradbroke Island from 29 October to 1 November 2018. The event offers an exciting and comprehensive program that incorporates both basic and clinical research on tissue repair and regeneration as well as photobiology and skin cancer. Consultation open for Decadal plan for nutrition science in Australia

Are you an EMCR working in nutrition science? The National Committee for Nutrition Science of the Australian Academy of Science would like to hear from you. The Committee has received funding to develop a Decadal plan for nutrition science.

The Committee is looking to engage with a broad cross-section of the nutrition community through a consultation process to develop the plan and to seek feedback and input. If you are an EMCR working in nutrition science please visit the information website and find out about the plan and how you can give your input.
